I have just learned that Richard Park has been in talks with Vancouver and could be close to a deal. Sean Burke is also flattered with a contract offer from Calgary that could make him decide to join instead of testing a larger contract in Pitts, Looks like Cujo could be a lock in Steel Town.

A little birdie flew by my window sill and told me that the Penguins and Josef Stumpel have agreed in principle on a contract, by Tuesday we could see this official. I also made a call to a buddy of mine and he told me that Pitts will decide between Burke and Joseph as both have shown interest in the teams contracts.

A source of mine has told me that Messier will be retiring if his former team Edmonton doesn't give him a good enough contract, Rumor is that Edmonton has been in talks with Messier since the beginning of the UFA frenzy, although this is what my source is saying. Messier has also recieved some saucy offers from Washington and his most recent team the New York Rangers.
